Mike (Dairy Manger), Jonathan (Assistant General Manager), and Larissa (Night Supervisor) did an excellent job in this promotion. May 21Two of our employees, Jeff Marner and Jonathan Wyse, recently attended a three day Supermarket S.M.A.R.T.S training session in Des Moines. The Iowa Grocery Industry Association sponsored the training and issued the following press release. May 17Stop in and check out our open house in the garden center. If you decide to cook for mom, what better than a Choice Angus New York Steak which is also on sale this week. May 7Summer hours start today! We are now open 7:00am-10:00pm Monday through Saturday. We remain closed on Sunday so our employees can attend worship services, spend time with their families and rest. May 7Sometimes going green just makes sense. We just replaced all the lighting in our 35 doors of frozen foods with new LED lighting. The new lighting is on motion sensors, so the cases are only fully lit when a someone is nearby. Even at full intensity, however, they only use a fraction of the electricity the old florescent bulbs used. Next time your in, take a look at them and let us know what you think.
